  1. Yes
Gotta a round of storms later in week was going over cameras making sure alls good.

Did some long distance focusing with the focus peaking colour.

Then double checked in 10x magnification was out just a tad.

But the focus peaking doesnt show when magnified is that correct?

Doesnt appear in manual that it shows peaking whilst magnified so presume is correct.

cheers lasses and lads have a good weekend

Another question can you set magnification so it goes straight to 10x?

Yes, and No.

I can on my R by using the Magnifying and then the <INFO>. This saves it at 10x even after a power cycle (or battery removal). It does not with my R5, still have to toggle between 6x and 15x. Unless I'm doing something wrong. 🤣

In the panic of storm shooting be great hit button goes to 10x recheck the sit back and enjoy. Bugger ya can’t lock focus manually some guy suggest just put duct tape on lens all good

Nope.

The category heading for this is: Magnification Image Display

...and followed by the statement: "You can magnify display of your captured images." This mean photos already taken and you want to scroll through your images.

My brain was on the wrong page.
Sorry about that.
