Wondering if anyone else has had or heard of pulsing issues when focusing with 3rd party EF mount lenses via the EF-RF adapter?
I primarily got my R7 for use with longer lenses for sports and wildlife. I have an R full frame as well as 2 M5 cameras that I mostly use when traveling. I was testing all my EF lenses today since I just got the camera and found that my Tamron 18-400mm and Sigma 135mm f/1.8 both had trouble finding the focus and just pulsed back and forth and when they did lock on the focus was entirely off. I was using my EF-RF adapter with the adjustment ring so I tried the non adjustable adapter (my backup) and the focus seemed fine. I went back to the adjustable adapter and now the focus works.
So far my other 3rd party lenses work but not sure why I had the pulsing issue. I had even tried turning the camera on and off several times as well as removing and remounting the lens.
