I managed to put scratches on the lens hood of my 28-70 .... not bad but I hate it on a 'new' lens until used a fair bit (a bit like the first kerbed alloy wheel on a new car) so thought I would get another ..... well, the list price is £65 ish in the UK ... for a bit of plastic

I looked online and thought no way ... then saw Bristol Cameras advertising them for £9.99 .... I ordered and it arrived. It is genuine and a bargain in comparison. If you are in the habit of losing hoods etc this may be a wise purchase at this price. I think they have more than the one I bought as still showing.
