Halnaker is a sunken lane near Chicester in the UK, we have had a funny autumn this year and the leaves have fallen in some places and not in others.
Halnaker was better than the first time I went but maybe not quite there, still a wonderful morning

Nice place to experiment with lenses and lighting. Very cool looking place. I’m jealous 😰😰😰

A bit more info:

Halnaker is the name of the nearby village, this laneis actually called Mill lane or Stane Street which part of a Roman road, there is also Halnaker Windmill on the hill to the north. It is in west Sussex about 70 miles from my home, they are known as sunken lanes or hollaways and there are German and French names for them as well, This one is pretty good to photograph on any sunny day as there are gaps that light up, its busy with walkers and photographers most of the time but is worth the trip.

Wonderful. I can imagine that on a foggy night, there are fairies, goblins, hobbits and such moving around.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
