The Jenever Festival in Hasselt, Belgium, is basically a celebration of "Dutch gin" dressed up with music, dance, and street theater. I'm back in the US now, but I spent an evening there with family and friends enjoying all the flavors of the juniper-berry liquor distilled locally by Smeets: cactus, mango, waffle, hazelnut, vanilla, chocolate, and more. As I found out, they are best enjoyed in small quantities over a long period of time. The EF 17-40mm f/4 L performed admirably, although this was one outing where I would have preferred an f/2.8 or better. All images processed by Luminar Neo, most with noise reduction.
