Hello from Bowersville, Georgia

Hi, My name is Kim and I live in a teeny town in northeast Georgia. I spent my time in quarantine taking pictures of things in my yard. I feel like I'm pretty good with bugs, birds and flowers and would one day like to just take pictures professionally. I just upgraded from my canon rebel to a Canon RP. I have the RF 50 and 35. I love it so far I was excited to see this group, I'm hoping for education and inspiration.

I do! I discovered Creative Live a few years ago and have learned a lot from those classes. I also have some local friends who do beautiful work who give me lots of advice and encouragement. I've had a few friends volunteer to model for me (which I think turned out pretty well!) I haven't shot anyone with the new camera yet... My plan is to continue watching classes, shooting friends, building a portfolio... then hopefully next year, I will be at a point to start a business... I hope!

Brilliant. It sounds like you are making all the right steps. Having a plan, working hard and being determined to achieve your goals will most definitely get you there!
