Hello everyone,
I'm Hans from the Netherlands. I've been using Canon cameras for quite a few years, and I thought it was time to join the forum and get some advice and share experiences with other Canon users.
I'm a recreational/hobby photographer rather than a serious or professional photographer. Photography is something I really enjoy, but it isn't my main hobby or activity.
My camera is usually a secondary part of a day out. When we go on holiday, visit a city, go on a day trip or visit an interesting place, I take my camera with me. I rarely go out these days with the sole purpose of photography. I used to do that more often in the past, but with work and family life I simply don't have as much time for it anymore.
Most of my photography is therefore about capturing memories and interesting places, rather than pursuing photography as an activity in itself.
My current lenses are:
The 35mm f/2 is also a lens I really like, particularly when I want something more compact or when I'm photographing people or working in lower light.
So that's a little bit about me and my current setup, and I’m looking to switch to mirrorless. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here, sharing experiences and hopefully getting some good advice from the community.
