Hello from the Sierra Foothills

Hello everyone! I’m delighted to have discovered this community. I have just finally upgraded to a Canon R8 from my trusty old Nikon D7000. What a difference twenty years makes! So far I’ve spent more time figuring out how to use it than taking pictures with it, but I’m enjoying getting to know my new camera. I’ve been ’into photograph’ since I was about 12, which means for about sixty years! I was a pretty serious student of photography in college with plans to become a professional photographer. However, other paths were taken. Photography has been a favorite hobby throughout my life; especially street, travel, and landscape. Here I am, now retired, with time and energy to ‘go deeper’. I look forward to learning and sharing with you RF Shooters.

Hello everyone! I am happy to be part of this RF community. I am an Italian wildlife biologist and wildlife photography is my favourite hobby.
I started with film photography in the 80's and recently I have upgraded to Canon R7, Canon RF 100-500 and Canon RF 200-800 and I am looking forward to learn from this community!
