Just a quick hello, long time Canon user but last year I sold all my gear and went Sony, this didn’t work out as I had hoped so I’m back with Canon with a R5 and three lenses. I spend most of my time based in Crete Greece.

Welcome to the forum and also welcome back to Canon Derek! Did you manage to test the RF 100-500? It's a lovely lens although I do prefer the internal zoom of the Sony 200-600, and the price tag!

Thank you for the welcome Tim. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find anyone that has a R5,6,3 in the Worcester area to test the lens for me, just have to take a chance. Yes the 200-600 is a lovely lens, one misgiving i do have about 100-500 that it isn’t a dust pump as it having an external zoom as Crete is very dusty.
