Canon R6, 24/70 2.8 L, 100 to 400 rf zoom, and 35 mm stm 1.8 prime.

Awaiting a 1.4 extender been on order for 6 weeks from B&H

Storm Photography, General farm photography and BIF my enjoymen.

Rank Beginner. Have older RP as back up. Wasn’t up to it for BIF of course.

Welcome. It will be good to see examples with the extender at 400mm. You are right that the RP is not a BIF champ but it has some other uses for those of us who have price limits. I really want to see results with the 100-400 and the R7.

It great for macro and landscapes the RP. Not knocking one bit.
I haven’t held a camera for 30 yrs. Cut it short my sister had a sudden untimely still unexplained death at 61.
Organised funeral etc myself and realized how few photos we had. We spent Xmas not 4 weeks go before here passing didn’t take a photo. Was the impetus to get back into it.
