Do you manipulate the colors of the hydrangea blooms? I understand that if you add potash to the soil, you can get them to turn blue. I don’t know what turns them pink. The ones I photographed are out in the common area of our condo, so I don’t know who manipulated them, if in fact they have been altered.

That green does look lush, even in real life.
I did not know that only the pinkish hydrangeas can turn blue, and that a form of aluminum of all things is added to the soil. White hydrangeas tend to stay white. I learn something new every day.

I know the colors could be shifted on them. But we let them decide with no colorizing attempts. I will try to remember to photograph them and post here.
