For me, it works better without the bottom third. The blurry area seems to subtract from the abstraction.
I believe you are right. The blurry area is not attractive. Yet without it, the pic seems too simple. I need to experiment more. :) Thanks for the comment.
 
I can get blurry pictures like that without even trying. Sometimes, the more, less blurry I try to make them, the blurrier they get. LOL
