What lenses did you use?
 
I guess astrophotography can be pretty underwhelming unless you're ready to spend tens of thousands and up
 
Yea. That was my friend's telescope and it's "only" ~$2k. If you get serious on astrophotography, we're talking $10k-$20k.
 
yep... and at that point you're just trying to compete with Hubble and JWST.
I'd say it's cool to try and take nice pictures of the Moon or the Milky Way, but anything beyond that is better left to NASA!
 
I mean, I still love to try how far I can push my gear, even if Nasa can do it better.

Have you heard of Deep Sky Stacker? Might improve things and make them a lot more interesting!
