My first karate competition shot and I have to say it was amazing! I learned a lot from it and I can't stop to think about photographers in the Olympics Games and the good job they do. Shooting karate is the hardest thing that I have ever shot.

Great moments you captured! Nice and sharp and perfect timing!

The timing is critical. I'm not one of those that use a lot of burst so I was praying the whole time that I nailed some good shots. I have to add that the R6 performed really well.

Good job Frank and some nice captures there. I really like the B&W and would be grateful for any info on the processing of that one that you would share. Was it a preset or just a simple B&W conversion in your post processing software?

Thanks Brian, I used a LrC preset on that one that I created based on a video that I found on youtube. I do not recall more details at this moment. Sorry.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
