Good on you for sticking with it since the bad old days of film - I didn’t. I started 45 years ago, got tired of spending good money for crappy pictures and gave up for quite a while. Digital was a game-changer for me.

Shooting film on a commercial level had it's challenges. But we were able to overcome by finding new ways to shoot. A guy I worked with was a great cinema technician. He took a movie camera, that used 72mm film. So each time you pressed the shutter release, it shot 1 frame. So we were able to photograph entire pro sports teams, without the worry of reloading. the film roll was able to shoot 960 frames.
