Lens hood Yay or Nay?

Do you have and use hoods on all your lenses? Soft, hard, reversible, collapsable? Which lens would benefit the most-wide angle or zoom? I have never had one or used one. Searching the net gives me-always use one or don’t bother at all! Any input from people here would be greatly appreciated.

My Canon lenses have all come with their own hoods. I have taken that to mean Canon want me to use them, so I do most of the time for additional protection. I've never questioned the need, simply just done it.
Yep that's Amazon. I like JJC - they fit pretty well, revers fit for storage and the lock/unlock button is a nice feature I find. Plus the price is acceptable for what is, after all, a piece of plastic.
