Does anyone know "for sure" if it makes any difference whether the transmitter, off camera flashes and camera are turned on in a specific order?

Thx.

Well, best I can remember it is Transmitter>Flashes>Camera.Tested to night an works fine. Would be nice to know if it makes a difference, but for tomorrow's shoot will take no risk.

Makes no difference. I've done it in all different sequences, and each sequence works like any other sequence.

I'm not sure Bob, but no matter what I do, I always turn my camera on last. I guess I don't want any unwanted power surges through the hot-shoe mount.

That's interesting. Perhaps why I remember camera last. Good thought. Thanks.

Off to shoot with lights for the first time in3 or 4 years. Cahrged 48 batteries :) Will see how it all goes.

Thanks for the replies.
