Like a lot of us, I have several camera bags that I choose from depending on what gear I'm going to shoot with or where I might be going to. I have Lowe Pro backpack that I mostly use for storing gear in my camera closet but I sometimes take it on longer trips when I might be taking a larger amount of gear. It's carry on compliant so it sometimes goes on plane trips. I needed to move it the other day and thought, perhaps I should go through all the pockets as I wasn't sure what might still be in them. The last time I actually took it on a trip was in 2023 when my wife and I went to France for a few weeks.

Like a lot of bags it has a ridiculous amount of little pockets and as I checked each I found things I had forgotten were there. An extra pair of reading glasses, two asthma inhalers, several lens microfiber wipes, a set of front and rear RF lens caps. And low and behold, two credit cards; one was a VISA and the other a gas card. Best of all was the last zippered pocket, it had 115 Euros and two crisp $100 bills. Oh and one 5 pound British note. I guess that was my emergency stash for the France trip.

I've been setting aside some funds for my next purchase, possibly upgrading from the R7 to the R7 MkII whenever it i released so now I am a bit over $300 richer, just need to go to the bank to change out the Euros.

LOL, a nice surprise.

It's always fun in the fall when putting the winter coat on again for the first time, to see what is in the pockets. I've never found $100 bills in them though.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
