- 11:40 AM PDT: Disappearance (Immersion). Venus will vanish behind the invisible, unlit (dark) edge of the crescent Moon. The disappearance takes about 30 seconds to complete.
- 11:40 AM – 12:45 PM PDT: The Hidden Phase. Venus remains hidden completely behind the Moon for roughly one hour.
- 12:45 PM PDT: Reappearance (Emersion). Venus will slowly emerge from behind the bright, sunlit edge of the Moon.
