Few clear skies in the UK so I was happy to get to try out my RF 16mm on the R8 on a short holiday to Tavira, Portugal. Just 5 mins from the hotel. Nice and dark except from the resort lighting 100m behind but did light the foreground. 25 16 sec exposures, stacked and post processed.

Really nice shot, not really been anywhere 'dark enough' yet to try this although Canada next year may give us the opportunity.

Yes, a nice region, especially for photography and bird watching. This precise place was Cabanas, where we were staying, just outside Tavira town.

Yes. I've got about 8 biding locations I visit while we are there. My favourite B&W of all time was from there in 2012.
