New R6 Firmware 1.3.0 Pulled Due to a Bug

It appears that the new R6 firmware 1.3.0 has now been pulled globally by Canon due to a bug that appears to be affecting video shooters. Further details can be found over on Canon Rumors.


It doesn't look like the R5 is affected at this time.
 
The R5 firmware would have been pulled too if that were the case. Just checked on my R5 1080/120(100) with an EF lens - all working fine
 
The R5 and R6 firmware are not identical despite the numbering. Looks like there's a 1.3.1 firmware now out for the R6.
 
I've got the R5 and R6.
I installed the 1.3.0 firmware eon the R5 and no issues so far.

My R6 arrived on the day the firmware was released so luckily I didn't update it and 1.3.0 was pulled, I've since installed 1.3.1 and no issues identified.
