I met up with @nickhanson at Bempton Cliffs (UK) to shoot the northern gannets recently, it was my first proper outing since the restrictions were eased here. A strong wind meant challenging conditions for the gannets as they were coming in to land on the cliff face, which meant for some very easy photos for us! Here are just 5 from the hundreds I took.

Hi Timothy, Nice set of Gannet captures. The last one is my favourite.
I'm going up to Bempton in 10 days time for my annual trip. Sorely missed going last year though.

Thank you Glenn. It is a fantastic place. I wished I lived a little closer as I'd be there all of the time. I hope you have a great trip!

A great set of images there, Tim.

My favourite is the last one, but they're all good images. Thanks for sharing them. I'm looking forward to my annual visit to Bempton later in June, I'm there for 10 days, its going to be interesting to give the R5 a good workout there.

Thank you, the last is my favourite as well. I'd love to go for 10 days! Although I wouldn't love sorting through the tens of thousands of images afterwards!

Yes, I'm already finding just how many more shots I'm taking with the R5 and with a much higher keeper rate it is quite a task to decide which to cull.
