I have been using the tool since it was released but today I put it to the ultimate test.

I still speechless! I can't believe how well it restored everything behind the water bottle.
 
For the best results, use the Removal AI tool before cropping or any other big changes in the picture. Cropping causes unpredictable results in the Object Removal.
 
Yes I've been quite impressed with LR Object removal. To me it's far better than the one in On1 Raw 2025, Although early days for this software.

I don't use LR, but in Photoshop, it's also a good idea to do removals on a blank layer. Makes it easier to edit the result.

Yes, I'm also very impressed with what the removal can do. I had a long, curved thread get on the sensor when traveling for two days. It made a blurry line over sky, foliage, and the mountains I was photographing. Going over it with the generative remove restored it to a very normal-looking photo. It also made me start cleaning my sensor every evening...
