Birds Our wintering pelicans have arrived

We've had almost a week of rain, storms and cloud cover so it was nice to get out this morning in the sunshine. Our pelican population has really grown this week, today they were down along the shoreline of Lake Houston near my home. Had fun with the R7 and my Tamron 150-600mm lens.

Chris are you using a tripod or not?

I use a monopod. Image stabilization might be enough for eliminating shake but I get tired of holding up a big lens for too long.
