I've been absent from the group for a while, and I miss it. I started working full time doing in-hospital newborn portraits, and it keeps me pretty busy. Unfortunately, per my contract, I'm unable to share any baby images due to HIPAA regulations. I've tried to keep up with RF Shooters on FB and IG, but I noticed I wasn't receiving notifications of new activity and figured I'd better drop by and figure out why.

Anyway, keep shooting and sharing! Just for fun, I'll attach a photo I took of a co-worker at the hospital in PPE.

Welcome back Mara Lee :) It must be great to see all the new little ones coming into the world and the joy that it brings to their families. We are expecting our second little monkey in July this year. You can check your notification settings here: https://rfshooters.com/account/preferences

What are you doing with that Nikon in this forum :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

New born portraiture, now that's a niche market. Hope you are doing well.

Thank you, Timothy. It's a very rewarding job, that's for sure. Congratulations on your upcoming little monkey! I can't wait to see photos. 😁

That's a coworker in the photo with a Nikon, Greg. NOT mine. LOL

I didn't go out looking for the newborn portrait job, it was offered to me. I'd never photographed a newborn other than my own decades ago. But it's proving to be very rewarding.

I'm going to suggest your occupation to a pro I know in the UK. Are you getting shots. At delivery or just after?
