Yes. I think it was a chopstick in the right eye that was his demise.

Its a fairly awesome reference, filled with suggestions for technique, lighting, exposures, etc.

Flew is the past tense of the irregular verb "Fly", so the correct verbiage is fluened: meaning a fly that shall never have the ability to fly again.

Since the fly was a fly (noun) it doesn't have a past tense.

Personally I refer to them (flys) as dipterans - to avoid confusion with regards to e.g. zip closures.

I agree 100% Roy, but in this case, the deceased fly does have a passed tense.

The english language is a bit of a nightmare. Words (and bits of words) borrowed/inherited from all over the place.

To borrow/paraphrase a bit from Monty Python (the dead parrot sketch).
