  1. Yes
See canon prices increased in USA result of tariffs.
Used R6ii for example and B&H as company, R6ii is $355 US dollars cheaper in australia.
Europe might be even cheaper.

Wonder if its gonna affect even stuff like "imported" software compared to American adobe.

Also get a cheap airfare to EU somewhere wouldn't take long to save cost of air fare if you bought top end camera and lens for American buyers.

I checked out the new prices and was glad there isn't anything I want.
Whoever would think that a taco would be a cure for gas? :)

The only thing on my want list is the RF 1.4 TC. It's not in stock at the Canon Store and was $399, now it $439, so not much of an increase.

I wouldn't worry too much - I use Panamoz (direct from Japan) I have literally saved thousands. My R1 was almost £2000 cheaper and it arrived within 4 days.

While prices are rising, The camera world is looking forward to the new line of cameras, most wouldn't be available for another year.

Would that not be grey market? Do you get warranty?
They do class it as Grey import BUT it comes with a 3 year warranty instead of the UK 1 to 2 year, I still register all equipment with CPS with no problem. I personally have never had to use it but I do know of one guy that had an issue with a lens, sent it into CPS and had to pay for repair - email scan of the receipt to Panamoz and the money was in his account same day.
I was very dubious the first time I used them but over the years I have literally saved more than I care to add up - although it just means I have more to spend lol.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I do believe in manufacturers warranty so if I can get that I'm OK. I've never taken extended warranty on anything in my life so I don't need that.

Seeing your in Canada - I would be interested to know what the savings are between local an Panamoz for you ;-)

I put a BIG dent in my savings by procuring alot of gear in March.

I'm glad I did, too. Saved $$$.

These are the prices an exchange rates. Sometimes what the bank shows can be different from what I'll really. I'm not sure if I'll have to pay duties or taxes.

Price Panamoz is showing 2,860 GPB for the R5II

Looks like Canon Canada is offering a rebate for a while.

From their site. I don't see Canada on it. Recently when I ordered my Luna Display from the USA which was about $150 CND, DHL charged me another $36 CND brokerage fee. UPS has done that to me as well.

For all orders, shipping is FREE. We use FedEx, DPD, USPS, DHL and UPS Express services. They are extremely quick and secure.

Currently we ship to the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Also recently I have been using our local mom and pop shop for purchases and sales. I need warranty work or post repairs I just drop it off. I handed them my R7 for an in store credit I’ll likely use for the R6III. Or the R7II if it comes out first, which I doubt will happen. It may cost a bit more but less headaches. As soon as I hand them any camera or lens it’s not my problem. I’ve never had a bad experience but PayPal typically sides with the buyer. I was always stressed out until a purchaser got the gear, opened the package and was happy.
