Yea I was just eyeing the R3, very tempting price since there's also the $500 discount from Canon.

But I really want to know the specs and price for R1 before I decide do I take R3 or R1.

It doesn't seem to be universal. I noted the 10% back on the R3 but not the R7. I also saw it on an L lens. Maybe this is for the higher end or pro gear only.
