Can anyone suggest a good website to purchase prints from photographers. Not trying to break the bank but would like to collect prints that I like. Thank you all

Hi Mario,

Most of my large photographic art is ordered through Bay Photo, and their ROES software is pretty great.

My recommendation is you follow folks on sites like ViewBug, Flickr, 1x, 500px, and even Instagram, then reach out directly to the photographer. Many of those allow the photographer to license their work through the site, and they get a cut on prints. But if you value their work and want to display it then wouldn't you rather they be fully rewarded? It's a little more work, and if the photographer is not used to having their work printed they may just tell you to order one through the site. But I can't tell you how happy it has made me to have someone reach out and ask to have a copy of my work. It connects the photographer with the viewer, and with the case of one man of Flickr who insisted on paying my $10 for an image he could have stolen to use for his desktop wallpaper, it restores our faith in the viewing public.

Most photographers have their own websites where you can purchase prints, mine has the option of many different sizes / finishes etc.
As Jake said - make contact with the photographer directly and ask the question, 'most' are pretty thrilled to have someone buy their work.

You don't mention what you're looking for in terms of subject matter. The list below includes a street photographer, an artist who starts with photographs, a photographer using large format equipment for landscapes, and a couple who shoot a lot of commercial work. I follow all of these photographers on Facebook and/or Instagram. I've been on photo workshops where five of these men have been the organizer, leader, and/or teacher. In addition to prints, you might want to consider the books some of them offer.
