I experimented with the hand held slow shutter speed capabilities of my R6 during a walk around a “Winter Wonderland” just after Christmas. Although the photos aren’t spectacular I thought the the performance was quite impressive. I've added exposure information to the bottom of each image in case the data isn't picked up by the system.

That's pretty impressive to me as well!

I agree, and the combination of IBIS and in-lens stabilization makes me wonder about needing/using/carrying a tripod. While I know that there will always be some scenario where a tripod is required (astro photos, waterfalls, etc.) the level of built-in stabilization does reduce that need substantially.

What's a tripod? LOL
IBIS with lens IS is simply amazing. RF 100-500 @500mm with a 1/60 SS. Sharp as a tack.

I can certainly vouch for the IS in the R6. I did some tests with the RF35mm IS STM f1.8 and I got 3 out of 4 pin sharp shots at 3.2 seconds . OK, I was resting my elbows but will test outdoors when I get chance
