Canon R7 R7 Football Shots

Went to last night's 8th grade Middle School football game, my granddaughter is a cheerleader and asked if I would photography the game for her friends on the A and B teams. I took 2 bodies, my Canon R with a Tamron 150-600mm lens and the new R7 with the RF 70-200mm f/4. Overall happy with the shots, I had a few mix-ups on buttons to change settings in the heat of the moment but that will get better over time. Camera is super fast and I found the focus overall to be spot on. Biggest challenge is that the B team plays just before sunset and the A team is after and those school football fields are not lit so well. On the night shots I did some noise reduction in LR, these pictures are shared with the kids on the team and noise isn't really something they will care about.

I forgot to add that the daylight shots were at fairly low ISO settings, I just kept it on Auto and my shutter speed was 1/2000 to 1/3000 sec. The night shots were at ISO 128000 and I had to lower my shutter speed to 1/1000 sec. I usually shoot in T mode and set the shutter speed but let the ISO and aperture be in Auto but at night I set the ISO and don't leave it on Auto. So often the camera is fooled when the background is dark but being dark is fine with me as long as the player is exposed correctly.
