I've been shooting with the R7 a lot since I got it at the end of June, and while I love the reach I am honestly getting tired of the AF system failing and would rather crop to 17MPs on the R5 than miss shots the way I am at 32MP.

I will get minor focus shifting all the time on a stationary bird. I've gotten an eye detect indicator while the camera focuses on the background of the bird in shadowy situations. And I'm literally sick and tired of the AF being sticky only when it feels like it and then doing stuff like this...

I so want to love this camera, and there are moments when I absolutely do. But even when I factor in the comparative price point it has to deliver better than this when it's actually meant to be for people who shoot like this.
