I was so focused on trying to manually focus the images I didn't see the composition. My bad, don't be like me.

An expert is someone who has made all possible mistakes in a field of study. You are one step closer to that!

Annnnd along that line of thought, you may very well enjoy a book by Ambrose Bierce: 'The Devil's Dictionary'.

A wonderful source of contrary observations of the human condition. I'm pretty sure George Carlin was a fan!

A few of my favorites...

"Love, n. A temporary insanity curable by marriage."

"Corporation, n. An ingenious device for obtaining individual profit without individual responsibility."

"Photograph, n. A picture painted by the sun without instruction in art. It is a little better than the work of an Apache, but not quite so good as that of a Cheyenne." (Hey, this was the 1911!)

Cheers!

OMG, that's awesome! I am so stealing that!

For me, the problem is that there are so many more mistake to make!

In my teaching days, I used to tell my students not to fear making mistakes or failures. I cannot imagine anyone who has made no mistakes or failed in doing something. The biggest failure, I told them, is not to learn from your mistakes or failures. Interestingly, there is a lot more information in failures than successes. We learn what does not work and why. Some students took that to heart and tried new things. So, this is a life-long philosophy for me. Please "steal it" and sell it to others!!
