Yesterday I lead a group of photographers in shooting local on our Scott Kelby Annual Worldwide Photo Walk. Just about every photographer knows who Scott Kelby is as an ambassador for Adobe PS and LR, he started the Photo Walks in 2008 as a way to bring photographers within a community together to take pictures on a specified day all around the world. This is my second one to lead, we walked in a park within our community and had 20 participants. Most of those who came were also members of our local photography club so it became a club activity as well.
The park is typical for our area in southeast Texas, heavily wooded with marshy areas although most are dry at this time of year. I chose to shoot with my R7 and 100mm macro although I did take a group shot with the RF 16mm. After our walk, several of us stopped for a nice late
breakfast and time to socialize. Overall, a great day.
