Seeking advice on a bag

I am seeking advice from all the gurus out there for the following.

Recommendation for one easy to carry, easy to open camera bag,
to carry

R7 with attached Canon RF 100 - 400 lens f5.6 - 8 IS USM

and

R6 Mk 2 with attached Canon RF S 18 - 150mm f3.5 6.3 IS STM LENS

Ideally, I would like to be able to access one or the other without having to repack the bag.

I do not want a back pack

When I pack 2 bodies and 2+ lenses, I put them in a Think Tank Retrospective 30 bag. Your problem will be with the RF 100-400. That lens, mounted on a body, won't fit vertically in that bag. In the picture below, the unmounted lens in the front in the middle is that 100-400 and it sticks up about the same height as an RF 70-200/4 mounted on an R5.

The Retrospective 20 bag is deep enough to take a mounted 100-400, but it's not as wide. You could probably squeeze an R6 and an R7 mounted up, but it would be tight.

I don't shoot out of that Retrospective 30 much. It's mainly for transport and I'll use it when I'm shooting near my car. It's heavy so I'll grab either or both cameras and walk around just carrying them by their camera straps. Full kit, naked gear, no lens changing.

If I'm going to wear a bag while I'm shooting, I'll leave a body at home. A Retrospective 10 holds 1 body with a lens mounted and 1 or 2 unmounted lenses.

That RF 100-400/5.6-8 is about the same size as an old internal-zoom EF 70-200/4. That was and is a very popular lens. Maybe someone here could shed some light on bags they used with that lens.

Have you looked at the Tenba Messenger Pro series bags? I recently bought one for my trip to Hawaii.
