Has anyone tried to shoot high school volleyball with only fixed focal length lenses. If so what did you use and how did it come out. The two camera bodies I have are EOS R and R7. RF lenses are 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8, 100mm 2.8. And while I'm asking is it worth getting the 85mm 1.8?

Yes ... routinely shoot volleyball with a 400 2.8 (and with a 70-200 2.8, but that's NOT fixed !!) .....
Specs:
Canon EOS R5
Lens (mm): 400
ISO: 6400
Aperture: 3.2
Shutter: 1/1250
