Full-Frame Sigma 150-600 f5-6.3 Contemporary EF mount

A couple of pictures with my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary EF mount. The moon picture was using the 1.4x extender taken about 15 miles from the mountain. (The company that made most of the antenna on Sandia Crest saw my image on Facebook and contacted me to purchase it. It now hangs in their office in Texas.

Supermoon rises over Sandia Crest, Albuquerque. Canon R5, Sigma 150-600 with 1.4 extender. Shot taken standing along side I-25 just north of Albuquerque.

You must have used the EF-RF adapter and the 1.4 extender, so did that combination have any issues with the R5?

I had a Sigma EF 105mm macro that was excellent on the Canon 7D Mark II, but it didn't play well with my R series cameras (I tried it with multiple adapters, no luck).

Yes I did and no, there were no issues. I don’t usually use the 1.4 extender with that lens, but as this was a moonshot on a tripod, I figured it was worth trying.
