Great catch Anthony. I heard there was one spotted up by us, I'll probably never see it myself though! Although if it keeps raining we might have them in the garden soon! 😀

Good time of year to see them as often seen on edge of reedbeds. Tricky to spot, their camouflage is really good.

Lots of rain here too but due to being on the edge on the Pennines bit too high for snipe. But common sandpiper/redshank not uncommon.
