In the June R photos thread, I posted a couple of sunset pictures and alluded to another pic from the same time, but taken with my iPhone. This is it:
I have an iPhone 17 Pro, and use Adobe's HDR "Project Indigo" camera app. This image was then processed in Lightroom on the phone, using the auto sky select tool and the "blue drama" preset. For this forum I have tweaked the selection a bit, but left the settings pretty much alone. The preset certainly increases the drama in the sky, but I think it matches the feel of the moment very well. About a minute later, the heavens opened...
I know I should have taken the big camera out on to the verandah - it was after all already in use - but I take a lot of pix with my phone, and I like the PI-Lightroom workflow for posting to social media (mainly Bluesky - @grenow.bsky.social - but also occasional Instagram & Facebook) so I was looking for something I could post, without having the hassle of loading images onto the iPad from the camera.
