Just wondering if anyone using the RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens has found a sweet spot ? (sharpest f-number)

Cliff.

Most lenses it's F9-F11. Without any knowledge for that lens, I would guess it's about there.

However, most RF lenses are amazing sharp even when wide open so I don't really worry about sharpness at any f number.

Hi ,
Yes, the lens does seem to be sharp across the range, I do need to use it more yet and study the results .
