One of my first portraits with the R6 and RF 85mm f1.2. Nearly SOOC, resized for www. Could use some cropping to remove the car and yellow post, and trim bottom margin, but I thought I'd post it as is for 'educational purposes.' šŸ˜

I love how your subject is so 3 dimensional - almost jumps out of the photo at you.

How do you find the weight of that lens - it looks like a monster?

Thank you! For me, it's very heavy, and not extremely well balanced. For anything longer than a few minutes, I put it on the tripod or I get camera shake, even with the R6's IBIS. If I have a planned outing, I make sure I've eaten or I can be sure to have more blurred shots. I really would prefer it had a tripod mount rather than the weight hanging on my camera. I tend to support it with my hand, even on the tripod.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
