Great photo. Hard to believe they're still flying! Some were made in 1955 - the year I was born and I'm OLD. I was in the Air Force back in early 80's - you'd be shocked to see how much the body & wings flex when they're going down the runway.
Have you ever seen a B-52 landing in a crosswind. It freaky because the gear can articulate to maintain the runway headway to compensate for the crab angle on approach. Impressive big bird. @arnoldtom, ever more impressive because it is still in service despite being rumored to be condemned to moth balls in the '80's.
