Has anyone tried Typology before? I am getting mixed results with Internet search, some are "okay" some have nothing to do with Typology Photography.

Do you have a favorite website or Youtube video?

Typology

Key Characteristics of Photographic Typologies:
  • Consistency:
Typologies emphasize a high degree of consistency in the subjects, environment, photographic process, and presentation.

  • Classification:
They serve as a method of documenting and classifying types of subjects, whether people, buildings, objects, or landscapes.

    • Series of Images:
Typologies are typically presented as a series of images, rather than individual photographs, to fully convey the classification or theme.
    • Equal Weight:
All elements in a typology have equal weight, and there is no fixed sequence to the series.
    • Passive Description:
Typologies often utilize "passive methods of description," focusing on the visual representation of the subject rather than narrative or interpretation
