I sold an R8 a couple of weeks ago. Then bought an R7. Liking the R7 much more than the R8. Selling a Canon 90D on ebay right now.

I’m still waiting for the R7 Mark II. If ever

Nothing wrong with EF. I have a mix of RF and EF. My EF 135 f2 is one I’ll never part with.

I parted with my EF 135 f2 (damn good lens with a l-o-n-g production history). Me? I won't part with my EF 85 f/1.2 II.

Isn't rather funny how people have their favourites that they'll not part with?

I suspect if I had and EF 85 1.2 I’d be hanging on to that too!

I can see why estate agents like such a lens.

I've just got to see whether I can make 'proper' use of it.

Nearly a couple of months in...

I'm still not fully acclimatised to it. But I will say it is one heck of a piece of glass. (Providing you can get past the worry that a protective filter cannot be put across the front element).

Bought but not seen or used just paid for. My local family owned camera store ive bought ALL my gear from, rang and said they have a barely used EL-1 Speedlite flash. Version 1
Rang me as soon as it came in.

I picked up Canon's RF45mm f/1.2.

I've really been liking the 40-45mm range lately (FOV similar to the human eye?) and it makes for a nice 'walkabout' lens on the R5II. Toss it in the bag (Gently!) and go!

35mm lenses were a mainstay of press photographers. (are they still?). From memory they worked with hyperfocal distances. (which depends on the circle of confusion and the dimensions of the image produced).
