Someone asked this question on another forum, and after a bit of research I realized I have owned:
Pelix
FT QL
FTb
AE-1
AE-1 Program
T-90
Elan
D30
D60
5D
5d MkIII and IV
7D and MkII
R5
R7 (briefly)
R5 MkII (2)

How about you?

Since my XT in 2006, I have gone through approx one new body every year or two. They include the 20D, 40D, XSi, 7D, 7D2, 77D, 90D, R5, and SL1, and a couple of Sonys. This trend stopped four years ago when I bought the R7. Haven't bought a body since, and I'm getting anxious about it!

We are so happy we don't have to pay for film and developing any more - we just buy bodies instead.

2005 Canon PowerShot S30
2011 Canon Rebel XS
2022 Canon R7
I don't switch very often!

300D
350D
400D
700D
6D
R

plus a couple of Powershots somewhere along the line we used a lot for snapshots on roadtrips.

Only since 2007. Before that it was a Praktica MTL3 in film days, and a Fuji Finepix S500 as my first digital.

AE-1
Elan IIE
D30
D60
10D
40D
7D
6D
R
R6 Mark II

There could be something that I am forgetting over the last 35 years or so, but I think this is it.

A few cheap point-and-shoot film cameras that I can’t remember the names of.

Kodak Easy Share C310 - A whopping 4mp. I enter the digital era. Fun little cheap camera, and I didn’t have to go to Walgreens to get my pictures.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC P100
Canon Rebel T6
Canon R50

I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.

I've been a Nikon shooter most of my life (don't hate me).

For me:

Canon S30
SD 1000
R5 II

(I still have my Nikon and way, waaay too many other cameras & lenses.)

350D
600D
70D
7D II
5D IV
R
R5

R7
R5 II

(Others: Canon G7X II/ G12, Sony RX10 III/ IV, RX100 VI, Fujifilm XP200 Waterproof, GoPro Hero 7 Black)

No longer owned. Not in current use.

Currently the only body I have is the R6III.

FTb, AE-1, New F-1, EOS A2, 10D, 7D, R7.
FTb was in 1972, still have it.
Love the R7 as I only have EF lenses and can now use my FL and FD lenses.
So far no RF lenses jump out and say you gotta have me.

We love those old lenses - they were masterpieces (and expensive). But modern pro-level lenses way outperform them. They have to, to keep up with the high resolution sensors that we have today. The choices are not great for crop-format lenses, but are amazing for FF.

I don't pixel peep. I view my photos from a normal distance.
My lenses are all L lenses. Rented a couple of RF lenses and saw no real difference at realistic viewing distances. I prefer L lenses and only have one EF-S lens.
