We hope you enjoy creating memorable images this month!

(For those celebrating the festive season, may Mr and Mrs Santa bring you plenty of cheer - along with love, good health, happiness, world peace and all that kind of stuff!).

Have fun - but stay safe and well…

Phil and Karen 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🎄🎅🤶

——

Any R System images can be posted. If you would like to say something about the subject, settings, or processing, that will be very welcome.

Remember, you don't have to only post things you took this month - sometimes people don't get around to processing/ editing images straight away. (Think of it more as an ‘images I’d like to post here this month’ sort of thing). Images taken with non-R System lenses are also very welcome as this adds to the interest.

Images posted on this thread will also be available to view in the dedicated Monthly R System Images Gallery.

Commenting on people’s posts is encouraged, as it keeps everyone interested and coming back. (Please try to be considerate, thoughtful and constructive).

We aim to provide feedback - but note we are away for part of each month and busy with ‘life stuff’. The lack of a comment from us is not a sign of disfavour!

Finally, please post in accordance with the RF Shooters Community Guidelines.

Thank you!

Images from a recent(ish) visit to the New Forest, Hampshire, England.

(Shot raw and processed using: DxO PL Elite/ Viewpoint/ Nik Collection, Adobe LrC/ PS with Tony Kuyper Panels and Topaz Labs Studio/ Studio 2. Karen used our Sony RX10 IV on this trip, so you’re stuck with Phil’s images. Officially - some insets may occasionally veer a little off-piste. Don't tell Tim... ).

1. Mottisfont, originally a medieval priory (which held the forefinger of St John the Baptist as a sacred relic), eventually became the home of Maud Russell who made this a centre for creatives, including Rex Whistler, Ian Fleming and Boris Anrep (who created ‘The Angel of Mottisfont’).

Hi Myles,

A wealth of interest in these beautifully captured and joy-filled family portraits.

Well done indeed - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

The Tule fog made its annual appearance in the Sacramento Valley, so I drove into the mountains to see the sunset. This is from somewhere on Deadwood Ridge above Foresthill.

Thanks. As I often say - you can have a life, or a big garden. We've got the garden...

Great photos, Folks. I really like the symmetry and lines of the Motor Museum, and the arched ceilings of the Beaulieu Palace House are super.
