As to lowlight performance of the R7. If you don't use an R7. how do you know how good the low light performance is. I just posted a picture of a owl that was taken in very low light with the RF 100-500. Very minimal noise reduction was used.Before the R7, I used an 5DIV. One of the worst cameras for noise I have used. The R7 is an exhalant all around camera, not just for birds. Canon kit lens for APSC are junk. Sigma has exhalent fast lenses that make the R7 truly shine. I use the R5-R7...

I don't use this very often. I only have the Multi-controller enabled in M mode. I'm in modes C1-3 90% of the time for wildlife. I also don't have the LCD enabled to move AF points around in any mode. I found this video a few weeks ago and lost it. Found it again. Example is at 12:40 where he presses in the Multi-controller and the AF point turns into a double lined white broken square. He then uses the controller to move that AF point left or right. The new to me used EL1 speedlite works a treat, easy to use understand. Im doing a rodeo queen rodeo princess which I got asked to do Mostly midday onwards sigh. I came across an interesting video. I have so many things to deal with I've been using Evaluative for as long as I can remember. EC is mapped to the big dial on the back. These days with exposure simulation and a histogram in the upper right hand corner makes things easier. Have you ever noticed that in most articles about cameras that the accompanying picture of the camera shows it with the lens off of it, and no body cap on it such that the sensor is exposed to the open air? In videos they wave it around like that as if it’s a stage prop. I am under the impression that the last thing you want is to leave the sensor exposed to the open air in order to prevent dust or contamination from getting on the sensor. Am I being too paranoid? I updated my Mac Mini M4 and MB Air M3. Everything is working. LrC, PS, DPP, ON1 NoNoise 2024.5 and and Topaz Sharpen A (which has not had and update since 2022) are all doing well. I don't print using LrC but the 4 year old basic HP is working. I'm a little too adventures so I don't really recommend others to move anywhere that fast unless you are sure. After almost 20 years of shooting RAW I have been contemplating using CRAW. After watching this video I'm going to try CRAW for my C1-3 modes which are for sports and birding. I'm considering buying the R5 II because unlike the R6 III the R5 II supports flash use during focus bracketing. My question: Can I use any brand flash that is compatible with Canon for R5 II while focus bracketing? Or must it be a Canon brand flash? I purchased this item and installed in the R5 Mark II, in general I would say it is ok and everything works. My only observation (perfectionism) is that there is a minimal gap of ~1/3 of a millimeter compared to the facotry one who is completely flush to the camera viewfinder, there is no light leak or anything like that, it is just a minor thing, what's your experience, do you also have a small gap or separation between the eyecup and the camera viewfinder?
