Heading to Svarlbard next April. Any tips?

April in Svalbard will give you enough light and lots of clear skies so the RF 100-500 will do very well. Probably an obvious one but take enough clothes to dress warmly including rain gear, especially when you're on the boat or zodiac. Have big fun, it's fantastic to see the King of Arctic so close by.
