A list of Canon RF and RF-S lenses on the market today including the latest firmware versions.

Note: After selecting your OS version if the firmware is not displayed try selecting an older OS version. For some reason the firmware doesn’t always display for the latest OS versions, even though installing the firmware is not OS dependent once downloaded.

Thanks for compiling this. Canon sure is odd with a few things. As a Mac users I had to tell it I was using Catalina even though I'm on Sonoma to access the FW updates for my lenses. I already had them but I just wanted to test to see if something changed. Still the same. I'm not sure if this happens to Windows.

I’ve noticed this too, it’s definitely odd. I’ll add a note about this to the post. I’ve seen it with Windows as well.

Good idea as people have struggled to find the update. Canon has always been a little behind in this area.

How very strange, surely the OS being used is irrelevant as is just a download to a card. The camera then processes the file. Or am i missing something?

Yep. I don’t really understand why they even have the OS version selector, surely Windows/Mac would be sufficient.

Not it's not. I download to my desktop, then write to a dedicated card I have for FW upgrades. All updates, lenses and bodies are retained in my Canon folder on my hard drive.

I wish it was that simple but it isn’t. If you open the link to the lens and select newer OS like Sonoma you won’t see it.

Well spotted Rob thank you - hopefully it will stop the intermittent ERR60 I have been getting

Thanks for info, reminded me to check all mine are up to date.

Can confirm 100% that the ERR 60 issue is no more after the firmware update - shot trackside, two full 10 hour days and not once so very happy again!
