The joy and agony of auto ISO. Took this image of a puffin flying back to the "rock" at Elliston Puffin site at the end of the day. as you can see from the exif the ISO was 25,600. I was going to toss it but thought maybe I'd just try and see if I could salvage it with pure raw. I have the original with some LR adjustment and the pure raw DNG with the exact same adjustments. I wouldn't print it, and definitely would never use it in competition, but it is a good reminder what our current cameras, with good software, are capable of. Don't ask me why it was at f/29. I have no idea.
